Only after complete drying and airing can you refill the packaging with the prepared solution.

We recommend first rinsing the glass part mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly so that no detergent residues remain in the container. After drying, the interior must be disinfected with alcohol (e.g. products available on Handymade), allowing the alcohol to act for a short time. Clean the spray head gently so as not to damage the delicate dosing mechanism, and disinfect it as well by flushing it with alcohol. Before reuse, allow all parts to dry completely.

When designing a formula for nasal application, it is important to take into account viscosity, the presence of salts, pH and the preservation system so that the sprayer reliably dispenses the required amount. It is recommended to formulate rather low-viscosity solutions that do not clog the nozzle. If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information given on the product parameter label on Handymade. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in a glass container after prior emptying and basic rinsing. The plastic part of the sprayer (including the tube and head) should be separated and placed with plastics, provided that the local sorting system accepts this type of packaging.
