Glass bottle – medicine bottle with white spray pump represents a practical solution for packaging and applying liquid preparations where fine and even atomization is required. This packaging is suitable for formulations that require more precise dosing in the form of a spray and comfortable application directly onto the skin, hair or into the air. The opaque white glass helps restrict light transmission, thereby supporting the stability of more sensitive formulations.
The glass bottle – medicine bottle with spray pump is prepared on Handymade as a functional set bottle + dispensing component, which makes it easier to select suitable packaging for a specific product. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Before the first filling, we recommend carefully rinsing both the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. To disinfect the internal space of the packaging, you can use, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow the packaging to dry completely so that no moisture residues remain, and only then fill the bottle with the final product.
Yes, the glass medicine bottle with spray pump can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol 96 %. After disinfection, allow the bottle and the spray pump to dry at room temperature. When reusing, always take into account the nature of the new formulation and ensure that there are no residues of the previous product left in the packaging.
Store the products in the bottle ideally in a dry, clean and shaded place at a stable room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, which can affect the stability of the formulation as well as the service life of the plastic parts of the spray pump. Always close the bottle carefully to limit the contact of the contents with air and to minimise the risk of contamination.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend prioritising recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass bottle is usually placed in the glass container, while the plastic spray pump (including the dip tube) belongs in the container designated for plastic packaging. We recommend following the information on material composition given in the parameter table for the specific product on the Handymade website and choosing the appropriate sorting method accordingly.
