The plastic bottle with a gold flip-top cap represents a practical and aesthetic packaging solution for various liquid and semi-liquid formulations. Thanks to its functional shape and reliable closing, it is suitable for packaging products where convenient dosing, clean application and protection of the contents against contamination are important. The flip-top cap allows quick one-handed opening, which you will appreciate during everyday use in the bathroom, in the salon and in home production.
This packaging is intended especially for cosmetic preparations, hygiene solutions and auxiliary solutions for DIY cosmetics. Thanks to the appropriately selected plastic material, the bottle is lightweight, mechanically resistant and suitable for liquid, gel and thinner emulsion products that require stable packaging and repeated dosing without unnecessary contact with air.
This bottle is supplied in combination with a practical flip-top cap, giving you a ready-made solution for immediate filling and use. The packaging and cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging ideally suits your product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can, with appropriate handling, be used repeatedly, but we recommend always assigning it to the same type of product (for example always to the same cosmetic). Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected – for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. By observing hygiene principles, you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the safe usability of your products.
After emptying the packaging, we recommend first carrying out mechanical cleaning – rinsing with warm water and a suitable, well-soluble detergent. It is then appropriate to apply disinfection of the inner walls and the cap using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Packaging prepared in this way is suitable for refilling, provided that it is not visibly damaged.
Suitability for use with food and food supplements is always stated in the parameters of the specific product and in the enclosed packaging certificate. Before using it for liquid food supplements, tinctures or other products intended for internal use, therefore check whether the packaging has declared food-grade suitability. If such information is not stated, we recommend using the packaging exclusively for cosmetic and technical applications.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters and on the packaging itself (recycling symbol or material abbreviation). Before handing it over for separate collection, empty the bottle, if necessary rinse it with residual water, and sort the packaging components (bottle body, cap) according to local waste collection rules. In case of doubt, follow the recommendations of your local authority for plastic separation and the instructions given with the product on Handymade.sk so that recycling is as effective as possible.
To select a suitable bottle, vial or jar, you can use the advanced filter located in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently narrow down the selection according to several parameters – especially according to the type of neck, required size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you will quickly find the combination of packaging and cap that best suits your formulation and the visual style of your brand.
When filling, we recommend working at room temperature and avoiding pouring mixtures that are too hot, which could impair the shape or properties of the plastic. During storage, ensure that the bottle is always well closed with the flip-top cap and protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat. If you are working with more aggressive components (for example a high content of alcohol or essential oils), always perform your own compatibility test of the packaging material with the specific formulation on a smaller trial sample.
