FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for thicker preparations or only for watery solutions?

The spray pump is designed primarily for watery to slightly viscous preparations that can be dispensed in the form of a fine mist. Thick creams and gels are not suitable for this type of dosing, therefore when formulating choose a consistency adapted to spraying and always test in advance how the product behaves in the packaging.

Can I use the packaging repeatedly for several batches of the same product?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean and disinfect the bottle and the spray pump thoroughly in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the product. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, available in our offer as IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely before refilling the packaging.

How should I correctly test the compatibility of my product with this packaging?

Before introducing the packaging into regular production, we recommend preparing a test sample and leaving it in the packaging for a certain time under conditions similar to real use (temperature, light, handling). Monitor in particular any changes in the scent, colour and consistency of the product, any softening or discolouration of the plastic, as well as the functionality of the spray pump (smoothness of pressing, evenness of spraying, sealing during transport). If no undesirable changes appear even after a longer period, the packaging is suitable for the given formulation.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it as far as possible in accordance with local waste sorting rules. Before handing it over to separated collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any remaining contents. Assignment to a particular type of collection (for example plastic waste) is based on the information about the material stated in the product parameters on the page. By proper recycling you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
