Is it possible to reuse this plastic bottle?

Yes, the packaging can be reused if correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and ensures long-term safe use of the packaging.

How should I correctly clean this bottle before further use?

Before refilling, we recommend first thoroughly rinsing residues of the original contents with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water, depending on the nature of the product. Then allow the packaging to dry naturally and finally disinfect it, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% ethanol, denatured, plant-based. For plastic packaging we do not recommend boiling or aggressive thermal procedures, so that the material is not damaged and the shape of the bottle is not deformed.

For which types of products is a disc top closure most suitable?

A disc top closure is popular for liquid and slightly viscous preparations that are often used in smaller doses. These include, for example, shampoos, shower gels, body milks, facial toners, oil blends or concentrated household solutions. It enables convenient one-hand opening and closing, while limiting unwanted spillage during normal handling. Before final assignment to a specific product, we recommend testing the dosing and flow rate on a small trial batch.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this bottle if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after using up the contents, you empty it, possibly rinse out any product residues and place it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters.
