The plastic bottle with disc-top closure represents a practical and hygienic solution for packaging liquid cosmetic products and mild cleaning agents. The packaging design allows convenient drop-by-drop dosing or dispensing in a thin stream, making it suitable also for products where more precise and clean application without unnecessary waste of the contents is important.
The disc-top closure enables easy one-handed operation, which you will appreciate in your everyday routine in the bathroom, salon and home workshop. The durable plastic material is characterized by stability, good compatibility with common cosmetic formulations and suitability for long-term storage of liquids when used as recommended.
This product is supplied as a complete combination of packaging and closure with a disc-top mechanism, ready for immediate use after filling. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

If you decide not to reuse the packaging after the contents have been used up, we recommend recycling it correctly according to the material type specified in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The chosen fraction of sorted waste should be observed in accordance with local waste collection rules, and it is ideal to empty the packaging and remove product residues before handing it over for recycling.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene rules are observed, but we always recommend assessing the suitability of repeated use for the specific type of product. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your product during use.
Before both the first and repeated filling, it is advisable to wash the packaging manually with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely. We then recommend disinfecting the internal surfaces and the closure with an alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99 % or 96 % plant ethanol, and waiting for the alcohol to evaporate completely before filling. This minimizes the risk of contamination of sensitive cosmetic formulations.
We recommend storing the filled bottle in a dry environment, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. The closure should be carefully snapped shut after each use to prevent unwanted leakage of the contents and to reduce the product’s contact with air. When storing more sensitive formulations, it is also advisable to observe the recommended temperature stated by the manufacturer of the product itself and not to subject the packaging to mechanical pressure, for example in luggage or during transport.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it in sorted waste according to the material type specified in the product parameters on the Handymade website. It is advisable to remove residual contents from the bottle and closure to make the recycling process easier. Choose the specific colour of container or fraction according to the locally applicable waste sorting rules in your municipality or city. By doing so, you support efficient processing of the used packaging material.
