The glass bottle with pipette and safety lock is a professional packaging solution designed for precise dosing of drops and small amounts of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the pipette with safety lock, it offers safe, controlled and hygienic packaging of formulations where precise application to the skin or mucous membranes is important. The dark glass also helps protect more sensitive components from external influences.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verify the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the pipette must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the shelf life of your formulations.
We recommend first mechanically rinsing the glass part of the pipette with a suitable solvent (for example oil or water, depending on the type of previous filling), then cleaning it with a mild detergent and rinsing thoroughly. Clean the rubber part and the closure thread gently, without strong mechanical rubbing and without exposure to high temperatures, so as not to damage the sealing. After washing, allow all parts to dry completely and disinfect them with an alcohol-based preparation suitable for cosmetic packaging.
For very liquid preparations it is important to fill more slowly to avoid excessive foaming and unwanted leakage when closing. For thick serums, dripping may be slower, so we recommend carrying out a dosing functionality test before the final production and adjusting the viscosity of the formulation if necessary. Always check whether the pipette can comfortably draw up a sufficient amount for the given product type and whether the closure seals without seepage.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, first empty it as much as possible of any remaining product. Place the glass part of the bottle in the container designated for glass, in accordance with local recycling rules. The closure with pipette is made from a combination of several materials, so it is advisable to separate it from the bottle and follow the recommendations for sorting plastic and mixed components in your municipality. Always follow the material information in the product parameters and the local waste collection rules.
The simplest solution is to use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. In it, you can set parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and thus quickly narrow down the selection to those options that best match your formulation and the intended method of use.
