The glass bottle is a universal packaging suitable for filling various liquid and drop‑dispensed products in smaller quantities. High‑quality glass helps maintain the stability and purity of the composition, which is why it is suitable for cosmetic preparations, concentrated blends and DIY formulations. Combined with a safety closure, the contents are protected against accidental opening, which increases safety during storage and use.
This type of packaging is popular for products where precise dosing and reliable protection of the contents are important. With a properly selected closure, it allows comfortable pouring or dispensing and is also suitable for formulations that are more sensitive to external influences. Glass is also perceived as a premium packaging material that supports the professional appearance of the finished product.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (tightness of the seal, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol ethanol 96 %. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new formulation.
First, rinse the bottle mechanically to remove residues of the previous product, then wash it with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly with clean water. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface with an alcoholic solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %. Before refilling, make sure that no cleaner or water residues remain inside.

In the filter you can easily choose the neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging, which allows you to quickly find bottles, jars or pots that best match your product and the intended method of dosing.
The bottle is ideal for various liquid cosmetic formulations such as facial serums, active solutions, oil blends or hair tonics. Depending on the selected closure, you can also use it for aromatherapeutic blends or other concentrated solutions. When choosing a specific product, always take into account the viscosity, the sensitivity of the formulation and the desired dosing method.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend emptying it, removing any remaining contents and, if possible, rinsing it. The glass itself belongs in a container intended for glass waste, while plastic or metal closures should be sorted according to the material type specified in the parameter table for the product. By following these principles, you contribute to efficient recycling and to reducing the amount of waste.
