The glass bottle with screw cap and dropper represents a professional solution for precise dosing of liquid formulations. Thanks to the high-quality dark glass, it helps reduce light penetration to sensitive components and thus supports the stability of essential oils, active substances and other concentrated liquids. The dropper ensures controlled withdrawal of the contents drop by drop, which is ideal for serums, essences or intensive extracts intended for targeted application.
This glass bottle is supplied in combination with a closure and dropper that are mutually adapted for reliable sealing and convenient dosing. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, presence of aggressive components or a high proportion of alcohol).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is suitable for a wide spectrum of natural and conventional cosmetics, especially for products with low to medium viscosity that are dosed drop by drop – for example facial serums, oil elixirs, aromatherapeutic blends or intensive active concentrates. Before first use we recommend cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and then testing compatibility with the specific formulation in a smaller quantity.
The glass packaging can be reused for other products if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly wash the bottle and closure, remove residues of the previous contents and then disinfect with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based, which you can find on the pages /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. Fill the packaging only after it is completely dry and always prepare a trial batch to verify compatibility.
First mechanically clean the bottle – rinse it with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for laboratory glass and rinse thoroughly so that no detergent residues remain. Then we recommend applying disinfection using alcohol (for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol), which you rub or spray onto the inner and outer walls of the packaging and closure. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry freely at room temperature. Only then is the bottle ready for reuse with a new formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. The glass itself can generally be placed, after removing any remaining contents, in a container intended for glass waste. The plastic or combined closure is sorted according to the type of plastic given in the parameters, or according to local waste-sorting rules. Before handing over to separate collection, we recommend at least roughly rinsing the packaging to minimize product residues and make the recycling line easier.
To make selecting the packaging easier, an extended filter is available, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example glass bottles or cosmetic packaging). In the extended filter you can combine several criteria at once – choose a specific neck type, the required packaging size, colour and material. Thanks to this you can quickly select a bottle, medicine bottle or jar that will best suit your product and the intended dosing method.
