The glass bottle with oil dispenser is a professional packaging suitable for precise dispensing of various oil blends, serums and other liquid formulations. Thanks to high-quality glass and a practical dispensing system, it helps protect the contents while ensuring comfortable and hygienic application for both home and artisanal production. This type of bottle is ideal for products where a controlled amount per single pump and minimising the contact of the contents with air are important.
Glass bottles of this type are designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures that have been created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products containing acids, a high proportion of essential oils or alcohol.

The glass bottle with dispenser is also suitable for concentrated oil blends and oil-based serums, since glass is a stable packaging material and does not require plasticisers. For highly active formulations (a higher percentage of essential oils, acids, etc.) we recommend first testing the compatibility of the contents with the packaging and the dispenser in a small trial batch to verify sealing and trouble-free dosing.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before the first and each subsequent filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle, rinsing away residues of the previous product and then disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill the container.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend directing it into the recycling stream according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass part can be disposed of in the container designated for glass according to local waste sorting rules, once product residues have been removed and the plastic components of the dispenser have been separated. The plastic parts (pump, tube, possibly closure) should be sorted according to the type of plastic indicated on the packaging or in the parameter table. Before recycling, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the packaging to remove product residues.
The functionality of the dispenser always depends on the viscosity and composition of the specific product. With very thick oils or blends containing a solid fraction, dosing may be slower or less smooth. In such a case, we recommend testing a small trial amount and, if necessary, adjusting the formula (for example by adding a lighter oil), or choosing a different type of closure or applicator that is more suitable for the given product viscosity. Whenever you change the composition, always carry out a new compatibility test.
