Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new product through residues of the previous formulation.

In practice it is used mainly for facial and eye serums, oil elixirs, booster blends with active ingredients, hair serums for the scalp, intensive nail treatments, aromatherapy blends and various drop solutions for external use. Always adjust suitability to the viscosity and character of the specific formulation.

Before repeated use, we recommend first thoroughly removing residues of the original product by mechanical rinsing with a suitable solvent (for example with oil in the case of oil serums, or with water/the appropriate solution in the case of water-based formulations). Before introducing the packaging into regular production, we recommend carrying out a small internal compatibility test. Fill the bottle with a smaller amount of the finished product and observe the behaviour of the packaging over several days to weeks – check the sealing of the dropper, the stability of the material in contact with the contents, any changes in colour or odour and the comfort of dosing (speed and size of the drop). If the product contains a higher proportion of essential oils, acids or alcohol, such a test is particularly important.
