The aluminium bottle with sprayer represents a professional packaging material suitable for liquid cosmetic products as well as homemade cleaning and utility solutions. The solid metal construction helps protect the contents from external influences, while the functional sprayer ensures convenient, even and economical dosing. Thanks to the combination of a practical bottle and a dispensing head, it is a universal solution for artisanal and small-scale series production.
The combination of an aluminium bottle with sprayer, created directly on Handymade, has been tested and is functional in terms of compatibility between the packaging and the dispensing head. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing, back suction and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil components etc.). This will ensure long-term trouble-free use in your specific formulation.

The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each filling, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the bottle and the respective components, then rinsing them thoroughly and finally disinfecting them with a suitable alcoholic solution (for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). After disinfection, allow the packaging to air dry and only then proceed with filling, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and extend the stability of the finished product.
The sprayer is designed primarily for low-viscosity liquids, such as aqueous solutions, hydrolats, light toners or alcohol blends. With thicker emulsions or oils there may be impaired suction, uneven misting or complete nozzle blockage. For oil-based or highly viscous products we recommend a trial filling and, if necessary, choosing another type of dispensing system (for example a pump) or adjusting the formulation to a thinner consistency.
We recommend storing the filled bottle in a dry and cooler place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. Always tighten the sprayer firmly to minimise the loss of volatile components (for example alcohol) and the ingress of contaminants from outside. For formulations with a higher proportion of natural extracts, also follow the storage recommendations resulting from the specific recipe, including the expiry date and batch tracking.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material type stated in the product parameters. The aluminium bottle should be emptied as much as possible and rinsed to remove formulation residues, and then placed in the appropriate sorted waste stream for metal packaging according to local collection rules. Sort the plastic parts of the sprayer according to the material designation in the parameters. By sorting correctly you support the reuse of raw materials and reduce the amount of mixed municipal waste.
