Product description
Aluminium bottle 50 ml with a white-gold matte pump dispenser is a ready-made set for facial and body lotions, serums and oils in small packaging. The bottle and dispenser share the same neck finish 24/410, simply fill and screw on. Aluminium is lightweight, shatterproof and blocks light, and the dispenser delivers approximately the same dose with each press, so the contents neither spill nor need to be touched by hand.
The set is especially suitable for facial and body lotions, light creams, serums, fluids, massage and facial oils, liquid soaps and cleansing gels. The silver bottle with the matte white-gold dispenser forms a unified whole that requires no further customisation. The 50 ml volume corresponds to a sample, travel pack or a product with a short shelf life, such as a serum with sensitive active ingredients. Both the bottle and the dispenser are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetics, and the set as a whole is intended for cosmetic products.
What the set offers
- Light protection – aluminium blocks all light, protecting oils, vitamins and antioxidants from photodegradation, which causes yellowing, changes in scent and a drop in efficacy.
- Low weight and durability – the bottle will not shatter if dropped, making it suitable for the bathroom, a sports bag or travel. A stronger impact may dent it, but the contents will remain sealed.
- Measured dose – the dispenser delivers approximately 1.3 ml per full press, which corresponds to a typical dose of lotion or oil for hands or face. With serums at higher concentrations of active ingredients, the dose is easily controlled by a half press.
- Hygienic dispensing – the contents are not scooped out with fingers or poured from the neck, so less contamination is introduced into the product.
Which formulations it suits
The dispenser works best with liquid to medium-viscosity textures: milk- and fluid-type emulsions, light creams, oils, gel serums and liquid soaps. Thick creams, ointments and balms will not draw through the tube or the dose will be uneven. With very thin, watery products, some dripping may occur after pressing. It is therefore advisable to match the product viscosity to the dispenser, or to choose a different closure type for thicker formulations.
With aqueous formulations at low or high pH and with products containing a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend verifying the behaviour of the packaging directly with the specific formulation. With more aggressive mixtures, it is worth monitoring whether the scent, colour or appearance of the contents changes after several weeks.
The dispenser is not airless. With each press, air is drawn into the bottle, so the contents are in contact with air and the product requires appropriate preservation, and in the case of oils, an antioxidant. Aluminium protects against light, not against oxygen.
Nominal and total volume
Nominal volume is the quantity for which the bottle is designed under normal filling. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is larger. The difference provides space for the tube and the dispenser body, which protrude into the bottle once screwed on, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. Exact values for both volumes are given in the product specifications.
Good to know
Before the first fill, wash both the bottle and the dispenser, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Flush the dispenser by pumping clean water through it several times, then alcohol. After filling, the dispenser needs to be primed with several presses until the tube fills with product and dispensing begins.
The dispenser tube is supplied longer than this bottle requires. Before use, trim it with a diagonal cut so that it reaches just above the bottom of the bottle. The diagonal cut prevents the end of the tube from suctioning against the bottom and stopping the dispenser from drawing.
For repeated use, empty the bottle, wash it with warm water and a mild detergent, disinfect and allow to dry. Pump warm water through the dispenser until it runs clear, then do the same with alcohol. A small residue of product will always remain at the bottom that the dispenser can no longer draw out; this should be taken into account with more expensive serums.
Labels adhere well to aluminium surfaces. Adhesives designed for metal surfaces work reliably; a paper label with standard adhesive may start to peel off smooth metal over time.
Closures with the same neck type and other ready-made combinations of this bottle with different closures are available in the Handymade range. For a custom combination, we recommend verifying the seal, dispensing performance and packaging behaviour with the specific formulation.
The aluminium bottle is recyclable with metal packaging once empty. The dispenser combines plastics and a metal spring, so separate it from the bottle before recycling and sort by material.
