Aluminium Bottle, White Spray With Glossy Silver Collar, 50 ml

This aluminium bottle with a capacity of 50 ml and a white mini trigger sprayer is a ready-made set for spray products that are carried in a bag or kept on a shelf in daylight. Aluminium is light, does not break when dropped and lets no light through, so light-sensitive contents stay as well protected as in dark glass, at a fraction of the weight. Filling and volume

The nominal volume of 50 ml is the volume the bottle is designed for in normal filling. The brimful volume given in the parameters is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between them is a reserve for the dip tube and pump of the sprayer and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If filled up to the neck, the liquid will overflow through the thread once the sprayer is screwed on, and the closure will not seal.

One press of the sprayer releases approximately 0.12 ml of liquid. This figure helps you calculate the amount of fragrance composition or active ingredient per application.

Good to know

• Preparation before the first filling – rinse the bottle with warm water, disinfect it and let it dry completely upside down. Pump the sprayer several times in clean water and then in alcohol.
• Viscosity of the contents – the mini trigger sprayer is designed for liquids as thin as water. Thick emulsions, gels and serums with a thickener clog the pump or come out as a stream instead of a mist. We recommend testing light oils and oil blends on a small amount first, as the mist tends to be coarser and the nozzle clogs more quickly.
• Aluminium and reactive contents – with strongly acidic or alkaline pH formulations and with a high electrolyte content, check how the packaging behaves with the finished formulation before you fill the whole batch. We also recommend checking the plastic parts of the sprayer when the formulation contains a high proportion of essential oils or solvents.
• Reuse – after thorough washing and disinfection, the bottle can be refilled. When changing the contents, pump clean water through the sprayer, otherwise residues of the old formulation will mix with the new one.
• Other closures – the bottle has a neck with the thread specified in the parameters. You will find other closures with the same neck type and ready-made combinations in the Handymade range. If you create your own combination, check the seal and dispensing with your specific formulation.
• Recycling – the aluminium bottle belongs in metal recycling. The sprayer combines plastic with metal parts and a dip tube, so remove it before disposal and sort it separately according to local rules.
