Aluminium bottle with white spray pump and glossy silver collar represents an elegant and functional packaging for modern formulations in body, face and hair care. Thanks to the durable aluminium body and high-quality mechanical spray pump, it is suitable for filling various liquid preparations that require gentle, even application in the form of a mist or spray. The opaque metal packaging also helps protect more sensitive ingredients from light and contributes to the stability of the composition during use.
This bottle with spray pump is designed as a functional combination of packaging and dosing component directly on Handymade. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the selected packaging will suit your particular product.

When designing the formulation and selecting suitable packaging, we recommend taking into account the data from the technical documentation and the product parameter table, especially the material type, compatibility with the planned formulation and the recommended storage conditions. If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it according to the rules stated with the product in the parameters section – in accordance with the relevant material labelling and local waste-sorting rules.
Aluminium packaging is generally stable and often used for various cosmetic products, including water-based and alcohol-based products. However, compatibility always depends on the specific formulation (pH, type of emulsifiers, solvent content, etc.). Before final filling, we recommend carrying out your own test – fill a smaller volume of the product and monitor the behaviour of the packaging (sealing, function of the spray pump, any changes in scent or appearance) over time.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, but it is recommended to pay close attention to thorough hygiene. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (products available on Handymade, e.g. IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). After disinfection, let all parts dry thoroughly. When switching to a completely different type of product, we recommend assessing whether repeated use is appropriate with regard to the nature of the original contents.
To maintain good functionality of the spray pump, it is advisable, after the contents have been used up, to rinse the inside of the mechanism with clean water (in the case of oils or strongly perfumed blends, first with a suitable cleaning solution) and then use disinfectant alcohol. Practical procedure: fill the bottle with a small amount of water, spray several times so that the inner tube and head are rinsed through, then repeat the procedure with the disinfectant solution and let all parts air-dry thoroughly.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material type listed in the product parameter table. Aluminium packaging can usually be sorted into the container designated for metals, and before disposal it is advisable to empty it and remove any product residues. Follow the specific recycling instructions in the product parameters and comply with the local waste-sorting rules in your municipality or city.
