FAQ – Most frequent questions

Can this glass bottle with sprayer be used repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be safely reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging has completely dried is it appropriate to proceed to refilling with a new formulation.

For which types of products is the trigger sprayer most suitable?

The trigger sprayer is ideal for liquid products with low to medium viscosity that are intended to be applied as a fine mist. In practice this means mainly facial and body sprays, hair toners, aromatherapeutic and room sprays, textile refreshing products or surface solutions for home use. For thicker emulsions or gels we recommend choosing a different type of dispensing, for example a pump.

How should I properly clean the bottle and sprayer before changing the type of product?

First, rinse the bottle mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. We then recommend using an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, with which you thoroughly rinse the packaging and leave it to dry. For the sprayer, it is advisable to press the mechanism several times with a small amount of alcohol so that the internal capillary and nozzle are also flushed.

How should I correctly recycle the glass pharmaceutical bottle with sprayer if I will no longer use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend that, after emptying and a basic rinse, you place it in sorted waste according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed in a glass container, while the plastic components of the sprayer (head, tube) should be separated and sorted according to local rules for plastic waste.
