Glass bottle – medicine bottle with black spray pump is a professional packaging designed for filling liquid preparations where precise and convenient application in the form of a fine mist is important. High-quality glass in combination with a functional spray pump provides suitable conditions for protecting formulations, easy dosing and clean handling in home and artisan production of cosmetics or household chemicals.
Smoky glass helps protect more sensitive components from light and supports the stability of coloured or aromatic formulations. The packaging is suitable for liquid products that require repeated application in smaller doses, for example facial toners, refreshers or hair tonics.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured of plant origin. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried is the bottle ready to be refilled.
The packaging is particularly suitable for liquid products that need to be applied as a fine spray – face and body mists, tonics, hydrolats, hair tonics, air fresheners, pillow and textile sprays or concentrated home fragrances. It is always important to test whether the specific formulation has a suitable viscosity and does not clog the spray nozzle.
The glass part of the bottle can be rinsed with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and then thoroughly rinsed with clean water. Afterwards we recommend using an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured of plant origin. Clean the spray pump gently – by rinsing it with lukewarm water and pumping clean water through the mechanism so that no mechanical damage occurs. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry completely in the open air.
For recycling, it is advisable to separate the glass bottle from the plastic components of the spray pump. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass part, according to the type of material stated in the product parameters, in the appropriate sorted waste stream (usually the container for glass). Place the plastic parts of the spray pump in plastic collection or in mixed waste according to the recommendations of your local sorting system. Always respect the information about the material and the local recycling rules.
