Glass bottle – matte pharmaceutical bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging for precise dosing of liquid formulations, which is popular for the production of natural cosmetics as well as premium blends. Matte glass in combination with a dropper allows comfortable and controlled application of the contents directly onto the skin, into the palms or into a finished product.
Thanks to the stable glass, this bottle is suitable for packaging various liquid products where cleanliness, protection against external influences and easy drop-by-drop dosing are important. The matte glass also helps protect more sensitive components from light, which supports longer stability of the formulations and preservation of their properties during storage.
The glass bottles in this category are designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product detail. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass pharmaceutical bottle is generally suitable for most oil-based and aromatherapeutic blends, including preparations containing essential oils. For highly concentrated or specific compositions, however, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – assessing the behaviour of the glass, the dropper and the sealing in contact with your specific formulation over a longer storage period.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper from residues of the previous product and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-derived ethanol Ethanol 96 %. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely in a clean place and only then fill the packaging with a new product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it according to the material composition stated in the product parameters. Usually, clean the glass part of the bottle from any product residues and place it into a container designated for glass. The plastic or rubber parts of the dropper are sorted according to the type of plastic, in accordance with local waste sorting rules. We recommend always following the symbols and information stated on the product and in the parameter table on the Handymade website so that recycling is as effective as possible.
For thicker oils or viscous serums, the flow through the dropper may be slower. We therefore recommend performing a trial filling of a small test batch and checking whether the dropper doses the product at the desired rate. In the case of very thick formulations, it may be appropriate to choose another type of closure or applicator from the Handymade range so that the resulting dosing method is comfortable and functional for the user.

With the help of the filter, you can quickly narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. In this way, you choose a bottle, jar or pot that will meet the required dosing, design and technological requirements of your product.
