Glass bottle – matte pharmacy bottle with black-gold dropper is an elegant and functional packaging solution for both professional and artisan formulations. Thanks to high-quality glass and a precise dropper closure, it is suitable for filling concentrated liquids where controlled dosing, protection of the contents and hygienic handling are important. The matte glass helps protect more sensitive formulations from light exposure, thereby contributing to the stability of fragrance, colour and active ingredients.
Before the first filling, it is advisable to clean the packaging mechanically, removing any production dust and contamination from handling. We then recommend disinfecting both the bottle and the dropper closure with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allowing them to dry thoroughly at room temperature. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of the final product.
Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, then disinfected with a suitable alcohol and allowed to dry completely. For disinfection you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This procedure minimises the risk of contamination of the new contents and preserves the quality of the product.
The dropper is designed to allow precise dropwise dosing, which is ideal for concentrated oils, serums or extracts. It is recommended to fill the bottle so that there is sufficient space between the dropper and the liquid level for air circulation, which improves the smoothness of dosing. For thicker oils, you can regulate the dosing rate by gently tilting the bottle and slowly rotating it until the drop separates from the neck of the dropper.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. Then place the glass part of the bottle in the container intended for glass sorting according to the local rules for separated waste collection. The dropper closure with plastic and any rubber components should be separated and placed in the fraction intended for plastic waste, if the sorting system in your municipality allows this. Always follow the recommendations given in the product parameter table and the local guidelines for packaging recycling.
