The plastic bottle made from high-quality material represents a reliable packaging solution for various liquid and slightly viscous preparations. It is designed to withstand normal handling in home cosmetics, artisanal manufacturing and small-scale production, while allowing for safe and practical dosing of the contents. Thanks to its suitably chosen shape, the bottle sits comfortably in the hand and is easy to fill and clean.
This packaging is suitable for filling cosmetic solutions, liquid blends, auxiliary preparations and other formulations where it is important to protect the contents from external influences and maintain product stability during use. Combined with a correctly selected closure or dispenser, it provides a practical solution for everyday use as well as for travel.
The standalone bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems. Depending on the selected parameters, it can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for precise product application.
The packaging–closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or proportion of oily components).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if handled appropriately and its integrity is maintained, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle mechanically and then disinfecting it with a suitable agent – for example using isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99%) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96% denatured). After disinfection, it is important to let the packaging dry completely so that the stability of the new fill is not compromised.
For cleaning, we recommend using lukewarm water and mild soapy or non-aggressive cleaning agents to avoid damaging the plastic surface. After rinsing, it is advisable to rinse the bottle with clean water, optionally disinfect it with a suitable alcoholic solution and let it dry naturally with the neck facing down. Avoid strongly abrasive products and aggressive solvents that could dull or weaken the material.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures or to be sterilized by boiling. When in contact with a hot liquid or when used in a dishwasher, the material may deform and the tightness of the closure may deteriorate. It is recommended to fill the bottle only with cooled or room-temperature products and, if disinfection is required, to choose chemical disinfection with a suitable alcohol instead of thermal sterilization.
When choosing a closure, it is important to pay particular attention to the neck type and the intended way the product will be used. For low-viscosity liquids, droppers or fine spray pumps are practical; for standard solutions a classic screw cap is sufficient; and for targeted application, special applicators may be suitable. All closures and dispensers offered on the website as compatible are mutually tested, but we still recommend performing a leak and dosing test with the specific formulation before final filling of larger quantities.
Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle and rinse it as thoroughly as possible to remove any product residues. Its subsequent placement in sorted waste depends on the material type specified in the product parameters on the website – based on this information, the packaging can be placed in the appropriate collection container for plastic or another material. If the packaging consists of multiple parts (for example a closure with an insert), it is recommended to separate them where possible and sort them individually in order to maximize the efficiency of the recycling process.
