Can this glass bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, this glass packaging can be reused provided that hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). After disinfection, allow the container to dry completely and only then refill it.

How should the glass medicine bottle be properly cleaned before first use?

Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable washing agent, thoroughly rinsing it with clean water and then disinfecting it with alcohol. Is this glass bottle suitable for products containing alcohol or essential oils?

Glass packaging is generally a suitable choice for formulations containing alcohol and essential oils, because glass is chemically stable and does not enter into undesirable reactions with most cosmetic and aromatherapeutic ingredients. For concentrations of very aggressive substances, we recommend carrying out your own storage test to verify the long-term stability of the contents and the tightness of the closure. It is always advisable to verify the compatibility of the selected cap or dispenser with the specific formulation as well.

How should the glass container be properly disposed of or recycled if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local rules for sorted waste. The glass part can be handed over to the glass container after emptying and basic rinsing. A closure made of another material (for example metal or plastic) should be separated and sorted according to the material type specified in the product parameters in the table next to the packaging. In this way, you ensure a more environmentally friendly approach and correct recycling of the individual components.
