Is this glass bottle suitable for concentrated oils and serum with active substances?

The glass bottle is suitable for most common oil serums, essential oils and cosmetic preparations containing active substances. Before filling, we recommend performing a compatibility test – fill a small test amount of the product into the packaging and observe the behaviour of the material as well as the stability of the formulation over several days to weeks.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle before re-use?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, clean the bottle from residues of the original product, rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry. We then recommend disinfection with a suitable alcohol, for example using IPA or ethanol products available in the raw material category (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol, ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). After disinfection, let the packaging dry naturally and only then fill it with a new product.

Can I reuse this bottle for different types of products?

You can reuse the bottle if it is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each use. It is always necessary to remove all residues of the original product, wash the packaging, rinse it and then disinfect with alcohol (it is recommended to use products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). After cleaning, the glass bottle can be placed in a container intended for glass. The dropper consists of several parts (glass, plastic, possibly rubber), so it is ideal to separate them before disposal – recycle the glass part of the dropper together with glass and sort the plastic or rubber elements according to local waste sorting rules. Always follow the recommendations of your collection system and the information stated with the product.
