The plastic bottle with white spray pump is a practical and versatile packaging solution for liquid preparations intended for cosmetic as well as household use. Thanks to the transparent container body, you always have the contents under visual control, and the spray mechanism enables even application of the product to the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles. This type of packaging is particularly suitable for formulations that require fine misting without contact with a dropper or pump, which reduces the risk of contamination of the contents during use.
This bottle with the attached spray pump is supplied as a ready‑to‑use functional combination of container and dispensing mechanism. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for recipes with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or active substances that may affect the tightness or long‑term functionality of the spray pump.

For plastic packaging made of PET material, it is necessary to observe the recommended conditions of use. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures in order to prevent damage. In the case of long‑term exposure to heat or improper cleaning, deformation of the packaging, impairment of the functionality of the thread or spray pump and deterioration of the overall appearance of the bottle may occur.
For these reasons, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, we recommend gentle manual washing with lukewarm water and an appropriate detergent, followed by disinfection according to the type of formulation being filled, in order to maintain the integrity of the material and the reliability of the spray pump.
Yes, the packaging can be reused under normal use provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and regularly check the condition of the bottle and the spray pump. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray mechanism must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol‑based product, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol – you can find them in our range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After applying the disinfectant, allow all parts to dry completely before the next filling. Also bear in mind that PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not boil the bottle and do not wash it in a dishwasher.
This type of bottle is ideal for liquid formulations with low to medium viscosity that need to be applied in the form of a fine mist or an even spray. In practice, this concerns mainly facial and body toners, hydrolats, facial refreshing sprays, room sprays, textile fresheners, hair tonics, mild cleaning and disinfecting solutions or aromatherapy blends. Thick emulsions and gels may reduce the functionality of the spray pump, therefore for your own recipes it is advisable to first carry out a trial filling and test the behaviour of the dispensing mechanism.
After the contents have been used up, first rinse the bottle with lukewarm water, then wash it with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. We recommend disassembling the spray pump to the extent allowed by its construction and rinsing it with water as well. After mechanical cleaning, it is important to disinfect the packaging – the most convenient way is to use an alcohol solution. Suitable products include, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný, which you can apply by rinsing the inside of the bottle, spraying through the spray pump and then allowing it to dry in a clean place. Since this is PET material, avoid using hot water, boiling and washing in a dishwasher, in order to prevent deformation of the packaging or damage to the spray pump.
If you decide not to use the bottle with spray pump any further, we recommend primarily to recycle it in accordance with local waste‑sorting rules. The recycling procedure and the relevant material designation can be found in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website – based on this designation, you place the packaging in the appropriate container (for example components made of PET material into separated plastic). Before placing it in sorted collection, it is advisable to empty the packaging, minimise any remaining contents and, if the sorting system allows it, separate the container and the spray pump. This supports more efficient processing of the individual components in the recycling process. If you are unsure about specific local rules, follow the recommendations of your municipality or collection company.
