Transparent plastic bottle with matte white cap represents a reliable packaging suitable for professional as well as artisanal filling of liquid cosmetic products and other formulations. Thanks to its well‑designed shape and high‑quality workmanship, the bottle is stable, easy to fill, close and use in everyday practice when producing homemade and small‑batch artisanal cosmetics. The transparent design allows optical inspection of the contents and simple visual control of the product quantity.
The packaging is designed to withstand common cosmetic and hygiene formulations based on water and slightly oily phases and to be easy to combine with various types of closures or dispensing systems. Thanks to its compatibility with the range of closures offered by Handymade, this bottle can be effectively integrated into product lines with a unified visual appearance and reliable dosing.
The individual plastic bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing (for example screw caps, droppers, atomizers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the packaging material category. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the dispensing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products containing alcohol, essential oils or active ingredients.
If you plan to use the bottle with a mechanical sprayer or pump, it is recommended to first test the dose, consistency and uniformity of the spray to ensure that the selected type of closure supports the user comfort of your final product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. In the technical documentation you will find information on the type of material used, the recommended method of use and the suitability of the packaging for various types of fills. When planning the final product, we recommend always starting from these data and also taking into account the properties of your specific formulation.
If, according to the parameters, the packaging is made of PET material, it is necessary to take into consideration the specifics of this plastic during cleaning and use. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because with excessive thermal load there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. For this reason, it is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle cleaning at lower temperatures and the use of suitable disinfectants intended for packaging are recommended.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed and it does not show visible signs of damage or wear. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from our range, available as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. When reusing, always use clean tools and minimise contact of the inner surfaces of the packaging with the skin of the hands.
First we recommend mechanically removing residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution at room temperature. Then pour disinfecting alcohol into the inside of the packaging, for example the preparation IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based, making sure that the disinfectant also reaches the thread and the inner side of the cap. After the alcohol has acted, allow the packaging to drain and dry thoroughly at room temperature, ideally in a clean, dust‑free environment. For plastic material do not use high temperatures or boiling, so as to avoid deformation of the bottle.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend, where possible, to recycle it. Before handing it over to separate collection, remove product residues and at least roughly rinse the packaging. Then sort it into the container according to the type of material listed in the parameter table for the product – for example plastic packaging into the appropriate container for plastics. The cap and bottle may be made from different plastics; therefore follow the symbols and information from the product parameters. Do not dispose of packaging in mixed municipal waste if separate collection for the respective material is available at your place of residence.
For packaging made of PET material it is important to avoid exposure to high temperatures, which may lead to unwanted deformation of the bottle walls or the thread. Such packaging is therefore not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher, for long‑term exposure to hot water or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning at lower temperatures and the use of alcohol‑based disinfectants according to the recommendations of the raw material manufacturer are recommended. Also avoid storing empty and filled bottles near heat sources, for example on a radiator or in direct sunlight behind glass, where the material may overheat.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories on Handymade. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, dropper bottles, jars or closures) you will find the filter in the upper part of the page. You can narrow the search according to several parameters – specifically according to the type and diameter of the neck, the desired size of the packaging, the colour of the material and also the material itself (for example PET, HDPE, glass, etc.). In this way you will quickly select packaging that corresponds to the properties of your formulation and the intended method of dosing.
