The plastic bottle with smooth screw cap and drop-reducing insert is a practical and lightweight packaging suitable for filling various liquid and semi-liquid preparations. The transparent design enables good visual control of the contents, which is useful for both home and professional cosmetic production. Thanks to the integrated insert, the bottle offers controlled dispensing, which helps keep the area around the neck clean and allows the product to be applied more precisely.
The packaging is ideal for carefully formulated recipes where the combination of reliable sealing, practical use and easy handling is important. It is particularly suitable where you need a clean and neat appearance of the final product and at the same time want to provide the customer or yourself with convenient and hygienic dispensing without unnecessary product waste.
This individual bottle is part of a modular system of packaging materials and is compatible with various types of caps and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters. Depending on the specific neck and construction, it can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators for more precise product application.
The combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the way of dispensing, the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation and also the long-term stability under real storage conditions.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging after it has been emptied, we recommend recycling it correctly according to the recommendations given in the product parameters. There you will find the type of material used and the relevant recycling symbol, on the basis of which you will assign the packaging to the correct separated waste stream (for example to the container intended for a specific type of plastic). Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to empty the packaging and, if necessary, rinse out any remaining contents in order to facilitate further processing of the material.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend cleaning the packaging thoroughly and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the bottle and the cap to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill it.
After emptying the bottle, first remove product residues mechanically by rinsing with lukewarm water and a mild soapy solution suitable for washing packaging. Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. For disinfection, we recommend using alcohol solutions, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow the packaging to drain and dry completely at room temperature. A bottle prepared in this way is suitable for refilling.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste separation rules. The type of plastic and the recycling symbol can be found in the product parameter table on the Handymade website – based on this marking you will assign the packaging to the appropriate container for separated waste. Before placing it in the container, empty the bottle, remove as much of the remaining contents as possible and, if necessary, briefly rinse it. Recycle the cap and any internal insert according to whether they are made of the same or a different material, as stated in the parameters. In this way, you support effective recycling and reduce the volume of mixed waste.
The bottle with insert is ideal wherever precise or dropwise dosing is important. It has proven itself for facial toners, aftershaves, hair tonics, serums with lower viscosity, light oil blends or concentrated active solutions. The insert helps keep the neck of the bottle clean and prevents the sudden pouring out of a larger amount of product, which you will appreciate in professional and home production as well as when travelling.
