Fill the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution up to the recommended level at maximum, so that the sprayer reliably draws in the liquid. Before first use, pull the trigger several times until the system is filled. When working, hold it in an upright position or with a slight tilt and after use we recommend setting the sprayer to the closed position (if it has one) to minimise unwanted leakage during storage or transport.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and the material is suitable for the given type of cleaning solution. When switching to another product, the bottle and the spray head must be thoroughly rinsed, cleaned and disinfected before filling, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly, then rinse well with potable water and let it dry completely so that alcohol residues do not mix with the new formulation.

To keep the sprayer functional, it is recommended to wipe the nozzle after each use and, in the case of thicker or foaming solutions, occasionally flush it through with clean water. For longer storage, you can partially empty the bottle and close the nozzle if its design allows this. Avoid strong mechanical strain on the trigger and do not leave the bottle in extreme conditions such as direct sunlight or high temperatures, which could shorten the service life of the plastic components.

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible, disposing of the remaining cleaning solution according to the recommendations of the product manufacturer and rinsing the container. Subsequently, it is advisable to sort the packaging into the appropriate recycling stream according to the recycling mark of the material given in the parameter table by the product on the Handymade website. You can separate the spray head from the bottle – the bottle is usually sorted into the appropriate container for plastics and we recommend disposing of the mechanical part of the sprayer according to local rules for mixed or sorted waste, if the separation system in your city allows sorting by type of plastic.
