Transparent square plastic jar offers a practical and aesthetic solution for packaging homemade and professional preparations where visual control of the contents and a clean, minimalist look are important. Thanks to the transparent plastic, you have an immediate overview of the fill level and consistency of the product, which you will appreciate for creams, gels, balms as well as loose blends. This jar is designed to be suitable for packaging various types of cosmetic formulations and other mixtures where safe and purposeful storage is required.
The square shape of the jar makes it easier to store and arrange packaging on shelves or in drawers, and at the same time supports simple labelling and branding. The packaging is suitable for filling creamy, gel-like and firmer products and, with the correct choice of closure, helps protect the contents from environmental contamination. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material, it provides a stable environment for formulations with different viscosities and is a practical solution for smaller batches and product testers.
The transparent square plastic jar is designed to be compatible with suitable closure types offered in the cosmetic packaging category. When choosing, consider the type of product being filled and the desired mode of use so that the packaging meets your functional and aesthetic requirements. Combinations of packaging and closures that have been created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The jar can be reused provided that you observe basic hygiene rules during handling. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol from our range (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol, etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný). This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and preserve the quality of your products.
To choose suitable packaging, we recommend taking into account the consistency of the product (cream, balm, gel, powder), the method of application and the intended storage conditions. For thicker balms and butters, jars are practical, whereas for more liquid products, bottles with a dispenser or dropper are more appropriate. In the details of each packaging item you will find information about the material and recommended use, which will help you match the packaging to the specific formulation and the desired user comfort.
In the packaging categories on Handymade you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars or pharmaceutical bottles). In the advanced filter you can clearly select parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour and material. This will narrow down the selection to packaging that better corresponds to your formulation and vision of the final product.
Before refilling, first remove any residues of the original product, wash the jar with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly with water. After drying, the packaging must be disinfected with an alcohol solution – for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Allow the disinfectant solution to act on the surface for the recommended time, pour off any excess or let it evaporate naturally, and only then refill the jar.
Yes, the square plastic jar is suitable for transporting and storing small batches of products, samples or testers. For transport, we recommend arranging the jars in boxes in such a way that movement and impacts are minimised, and ensuring that the closures are firmly tightened. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the packaging can be easily organised on shelves and in drawers, which facilitates work in a small workshop as well as the sale of finished products.
If you decide not to use the jar any longer, we recommend first emptying it, removing any product residues and, according to the material type specified in the product parameters, placing it in the appropriate separated waste stream. The information about the packaging material will indicate which container it belongs in (for example plastics). In the case of local differences in waste sorting, follow the instructions of your waste collector or municipality. In this way, you support the recycling process and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
