The glass bottle with a white-and-gold dropper is an elegant and functional packaging suitable for filling cosmetic serums, oils, essential blends and other liquid preparations where precise and hygienic dosing is important. High-quality glass combined with a dropper allows convenient measurement of smaller doses, thus supporting both professional formulation and handmade recipes prepared at home.
This type of bottle is ideal for liquid products that require controlled drop-by-drop dosing – from facial serums to concentrated perfume or aromatherapy blends. Thanks to the sturdy glass container, the contents are reliably protected and also suitable for formulations with a higher proportion of active ingredients and aromatic components.
The bottle with dropper is primarily intended for liquid and medium-viscosity products such as serums, lighter oils and liquid active ingredients. With very rich oils or gel-like textures, dripping may be slower – in such a case we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in advance and, if necessary, choosing a different type of dosing (for example a pump or another applicator available in the packaging range).
The glass packaging can be reused if hygiene rules are followed, but it is recommended to reserve it always for the same type of product (for example always for oils or always for watery serums). Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of the new product’s stability being affected by residues of the previous formulation.
The dropper should first be mechanically cleaned from product residues using warm water with a mild cleaning agent and then thoroughly rinsed. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the glass part and the parts that come into contact with the product with an alcohol-based preparation (for example IPA or ethanol from the Handymade range) and allowing it to dry completely. Before refilling, always make sure that no water or cleaning agents remain in the dropper, as these could affect the stability or consistency of the product.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material composition listed in the parameter table for the product. The glass part can usually be placed, after being cleaned of product residues, in the container intended for glass, while the dropper (a combination of plastic, rubber and possibly metal) should be sorted according to the main materials used or disposed of in mixed waste if local sorting does not allow more detailed separation. Before recycling, always use up or remove the contents completely and at least roughly rinse the packaging to make the waste processing easier.
The simplest way to choose is to use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, medicine bottles, jars or pots). In the advanced filter, you can combine several criteria at once – the type and diameter of the neck, the desired size of the packaging, the colour and the material. In this way you can quickly display only those packages that meet the specific requirements of your product, whether it is cosmetics, aromatherapy or other formulations.
