The glass bottle with a transparent body and black-gold dropper is a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing of various liquid formulations. Thanks to the dropper, it is ideal for filling products where controlled drop-by-drop dosing, even application and clean handling during production and use are important.
This type of packaging is intended mainly for cosmetic preparations, aromatherapeutic blends and concentrated solutions, where an accurate dose without unnecessary waste is required. The smooth inner surface and stable material minimize interactions with the contents, so it is suitable for water-based and oil-based products, as well as for various serums, essences and intensive high-performance concentrates.
The glass bottles in this category are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the product detail. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, so that you obtain the most reliable result in practice.

To choose suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, it is located at the top of the page and allows filtering according to several parameters – for example neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to easily narrow down the selection to packaging that meets the requirements of your product and the filling technology.
The bottle can be reused if hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and of influencing the stability of the new product batch. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from our range, available as IPA 99 % and plant-based ethanol in the raw materials section: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely and only then fill it again.
The dropper is ideal for liquid and low-viscosity formulations, where dosing drop by drop or in small quantities is important. In practice, it is often used for facial and treatment serums, oil elixirs, aromatherapeutic blends, active concentrates added to base creams or butters, or massage and body oils applied in smaller doses. For more viscous products, it is advisable to test in advance whether the dropper provides smooth dosing without clogging.
Before reuse, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the bottle and the dropper components to remove residues of the original contents, then washing them with a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing well. After that, it is necessary to ensure disinfection – a practical way is to rinse with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from our range (e.g. IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). After disinfection, let all parts drain thoroughly and dry at room temperature. Before filling, make sure that no residues of cleaning or disinfecting agents remain in the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle and dropper, it is appropriate to recycle them according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product on the website. The glass part of the packaging is usually placed in the appropriate glass container, and the dropper components (plastic and any rubber parts) must be sorted according to the material type indicated for the product. Before handing over for separate collection, we recommend emptying the packaging and removing any product residues. Adhering to these principles supports efficient recycling and a more environmentally friendly approach.
The compact shape of the bottle with dropper allows practical use also when travelling or for everyday carrying in a handbag. Before transport, it is recommended to check that the dropper is tightly screwed on and that there are no product residues in the thread or on the dropper that could leak out during movement. For very fluid or volatile formulations, it is advisable to perform a leak test in advance and to place the bottle upright during transport, possibly in a protective case or a resealable bag.
