The glass bottle with a transparent body and matte black dropper represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling liquid preparations where precise and comfortable drop-by-drop application is important. Glass is a stable packaging material that helps protect formulations against external influences and is ideal for cosmetic, technical and herbal products with a liquid consistency.
This type of bottle is suitable for filling serums, oil and water solutions, tinctures and other products for which precise dosing with a dropper is required. The combination of a glass vial and a practical dropper ensures convenient application to the skin, scalp or into homemade blends, while at the same time minimizing unnecessary product waste.
Yes, the glass bottle can be reused with appropriate handling, provided it is not mechanically damaged and the dropper seals correctly. However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging in accordance with hygiene principles. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol-based preparations, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available on Handymade.sk: IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the packaging and the rubber parts of the dropper have completely dried is the bottle ready for refilling.
To make it easier to find suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category (for example bottles, jars, pots or sprayers). In the advanced filter you can sort packaging according to several parameters – especially according to neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly find a bottle or vial that will match your formulation, dosing and the visual style of your brand.
We recommend first mechanically cleaning the bottle – rinsing it thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, and if necessary using a brush to remove residues of oils and pigments. Then it is necessary to disinfect the packaging using an alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. We do not recommend soaking the rubber and plastic part of the dropper in concentrated alcohol for a long time; a short rinse followed by thorough air-drying is sufficient. The bottle and the dropper must be allowed to dry completely before refilling.
The dropper is ideal for liquid and low-viscosity formulations that need to be dosed drop by drop – for example facial and eye serums, facial oils, hair tonics, active solutions with acids, aromatherapeutic blends or herbal drop preparations for external use. For thicker oils or gel textures we recommend testing the flow and dosing speed to make sure that the dropper provides comfortable application.
If you decide not to use the bottle and dropper any longer, we recommend recycling them responsibly according to the material specified in the parameter table next to the product. The glass part (vial body) can usually be placed, after cleaning, into the glass collection container. The dropper is a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal), so it is advisable to dismantle it where possible and sort it according to local waste-sorting rules; if this is not possible, follow the recommendations of your recycling centre or municipal collection service. Before handing it over for recycling, we recommend at least rinsing the packaging and removing product residues.
Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is often used for smaller test and travel-size packaging of concentrates, serums or aromatic oils. The dropper allows hygienic dosing even with a smaller product volume, and the transparent glass makes it easy to check the remaining amount. However, when transporting, always check that the dropper is tightly closed and, if necessary, use a protective case or outer packaging that will reduce the risk of glass breakage on impact.
