FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The packaging can be reused, provided that you observe basic hygiene rules and the material is suitable for your formulation. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the next batch of product.

What should I be careful about when using plastic packaging made of PET material?

If, according to the product parameters, the bottle is made of PET material, it should not be exposed to high temperatures in order to avoid undesirable deformation of the packaging. PET packaging is not intended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling, because long-term exposure to hot water and steam can weaken the walls, change the shape of the bottle and affect the functionality of the cap. Gentle hand cleaning with lukewarm water and mild soap is recommended, followed by disinfection with a suitable alcohol, while avoiding excessive mechanical stress and prolonged contact with heat.

How should I correctly recycle the plastic bottle if I no longer want to use it?

The method of recycling depends on the type of plastic stated in the product parameters (for example PET or another common packaging plastic). After emptying the bottle, we recommend rinsing the packaging to remove any product residues, separating the cap and then placing the individual parts into the appropriate collection container according to local waste sorting rules – most often the yellow container intended for plastic packaging. If you decide not to reuse the packaging, recycling it is the most environmentally friendly solution.

Is this transparent bottle more suitable for thicker or thinner products?

The bottle with flip-top cap is ideal mainly for thinner to medium-viscosity products that can be easily dispensed through the flip opening – for example liquid soaps, shower gels, shampoos, toners or lighter body emulsions.
