The glass dropper bottle with pipette and safety lock is a practical packaging intended for precise dosing of cosmetic and galenic preparations. Thanks to the combination of the transparent glass bottle and the dropper closure with safety lock, it allows convenient withdrawal of small amounts of product even with everyday use.
The packaging is suitable for filling liquid products and preparations with lower viscosity, where precise, dropwise dosing and controlled application are important. The transparent glass enables optical control of the contents, which is practical for monitoring consumption as well as for testing new formulations.
This glass bottle with pipette and safety lock is supplied as a functional combination of packaging and dosing component. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is suitable for a wide range of liquid preparations, including products containing oils or active ingredients, as long as they are compatible with the glass and the pipette material. We always recommend carrying out your own stability and compatibility test of the specific formulation with the packaging, especially in the case of a high content of active or volatile components.
The packaging can be reused provided basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each filling, the bottle, pipette and all parts of the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured available in the Handymade range (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol, ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill it with the prepared product.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it in sorted waste according to the material indicated in the parameter table for the product. As a rule, the glass container should be placed in the glass recycling bin, while the plastic and rubber parts of the closure should be separated and sorted according to local collection rules. When handling the packaging, always follow the recycling recommendations stated in the product parameters on the Handymade website.
For thicker or highly concentrated preparations we recommend first testing the dosing on a small sample. Check whether the pipette can comfortably draw up the preparation, dose it evenly and whether the material does not settle in the neck or on the wall of the pipette. In the case of very viscous blends, it may be more appropriate to choose another type of applicator or packaging in order to ensure comfortable application and precise dosing.
When selecting a suitable bottle, pharmaceutical bottle or other packaging, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. It is located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific category (for example glass bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or cosmetic packaging). In the advanced filter you can combine several parameters at once – in particular the type and diameter of the neck, packaging size, colour and material – and thus quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that meets the technical and design requirements of your product.
