Aurafirm N is a fermented oat active complex with probiotic effect, produced by fermenting patented colloidal oats with Lactobacillus strains. During fermentation, the oat material is broken down into more bioavailable components and organic acids, amino acids, bioactive peptides and components that support the balance of the skin microbiome are formed. The result is a water-soluble, cloudy liquid containing fermentation metabolites and inactivated but structurally preserved bacteria, which behave on the skin in a similar way to live probiotic components.

This raw material is intended mainly for modern facial cosmetics focused on skin firmness, hydration, a fuller-looking complexion and supporting the skin’s microbial balance. According to the manufacturer’s documentation, efficacy has been demonstrated at a concentration of 2 % when monitoring parameters such as firmness, plumpness, hydration, epidermal thickness and maintenance of a balanced microbiome. Aurafirm N is also suitable for formulations for sensitive skin and, thanks to its origin from fermented oats, represents an interesting raw material for microbiome, hydrating and anti-age skincare concepts.
