Azeloglycine is an active for the normalization of skin sebum, which cares for oily skin and acne-prone skin by regulating the excessive secretion of skin sebum and at the same time brightening the skin tone. It is safe, stable and compatible with other cosmetic ingredients. Azeloglycine can be used in aqueous formulations such as cleansers, clear solutions, gels, gel emulsions and O/W emulsions.

Studies on the effects of azeloglycine have demonstrated a 37 % decrease in total sebum production (at a dosage of 3 %). Azeloglycine also acts as an inhibitor of the enzyme tyrosinase. This enzyme is responsible for excessive pigmentation. Azeloglycine therefore lightens the skin. Its positive anti-inflammatory effect was also of interest. It reduces the influence of by-products and other negative urban impacts on inflammatory processes in the body.

Recommended use: 3 - 10 %, water-soluble, stable at pH in the range of 5 - 11
