Azeloglycine is a sebum normalizer that takes care of oily and acne-prone skin by regulating excessive sebum secretion while brightening skin tone. It is safe, stable and compatible with other cosmetic ingredients. Azeloglycine can be used in aqueous formulations such as cleansers, clear solutions, gels, gel emulsions and O/W emulsions.

Studies of the effects of azeloglycine have shown a 37 % decrease in total sebum production (at a dosage of 3 %). Azeloglycine also acts as a tyrosinase enzyme inhibitor. This enzyme is responsible for excessive pigmentation. Azeloglycine thus lightens the skin. Its positive anti-inflammatory effect was also interesting. It reduces the influence of fumes and other negative urban influence on inflammatory processes in the body.

Recommended use: 3 - 10%, water soluble, stable at pH between 5 - 11
