Bakuchiol 99% is a high purity cosmetic active ingredient extracted from the seeds of the Psoralea corylifolia (babchi) plant using CO2 extraction. It is obtained by gentle extraction and purification, which guarantees a stable oily form with an active ingredient content of over 99%. It is known in the cosmetic industry as a natural alternative to retinol, providing comparable anti-aging effects without skin irritation. It does not increase photosensitivity and can be safely used during the day, making it an ideal ingredient for modern natural and anti-aging cosmetics.

Use in formulation:

Bakuchiol is an oil-soluble active ingredient that is recommended at a concentration of 0.5-2%. It is incorporated into the oil phase of emulsions or directly into finished oil serums. It is stable in the pH range 4 - 6,5 and at temperatures up to 70 °C. It is compatible with vegetable oils, ester components and most emulsification systems. For increased efficacy and protection against degradation, it should be combined with antioxidants such as vitamin E.
