Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly and only then refill the packaging, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of your preparations.

First, we recommend rinsing the packaging with warm water and detergent to remove residues of the previous product. Then rinse the bottle and the internal part of the spray pump with clean water. After mechanical cleaning, apply disinfection – the use of alcoholic solutions has proven effective, such as IPA 99 % or 96 % plant-based ethanol. Pour or spray the disinfectant into the packaging, push it through the spray mechanism as well, let it act and then allow all parts to air-dry at room temperature.

For packaging made of PET material it is important to avoid exposure to high temperatures so that it is not damaged. PET plastic is not suitable for boiling or for washing in a dishwasher, because long-term exposure to hot water and steam may lead to deformation, reduced shape stability and weakened tightness of the thread or spray pump. It is recommended to use only mildly warm water, not to expose the bottle to direct sunlight in enclosed spaces (for example on a car dashboard), and during storage and transport to ensure that the temperature remains within the normal room-temperature range.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it into sorted waste collection according to the material type stated in the product parameters and the recycling mark on the packaging. As a rule, the plastic bottle can, after being emptied and basically rinsed, be thrown into the container designated for plastics, provided that local sorting rules do not require separation of certain components (e.g. the spray pump). If possible, separate the bottle from the spray head – this will make subsequent processing at the recycling plant easier. Always follow local waste sorting instructions and the information given with the product in the e‑shop.

A spray pump is ideal where you need even application of a small amount of liquid in the form of a fine mist – for example with face and body mists, hair sprays, air fresheners or gentle cleaning solutions. For more viscous preparations or products that require precise measurement of drops or larger doses, it may be more appropriate to use a lotion pump, dropper or classic screw cap. When choosing, always take into account the viscosity of the formulation, the mode of use and the expectations of the end user.
