The plastic bottle with a smooth screw cap and practical reducer offers a reliable solution for packaging liquid preparations as well as easily flowing blends. Thanks to the well-thought-out shape and the functional combination of the bottle body and the cap, it is suitable for precise and controlled dosing of the contents, which reduces the risk of spillage or contamination of the product. This type of packaging is popular for producing homemade and artisanal cosmetics and is also ideal for smaller production batches.
The brown colouring helps to visually protect more sensitive formulations from light, making the packaging suitable for preparations that require stable conditions during storage. The volume-saving bottle is practical for travelling, trial-size packaging as well as full-size products that require convenient handling and clean dosing.
This bottle belongs to standalone packaging that is compatible with various types of caps and dosing systems according to the parameters selected in the product detail. It can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, always depending on the compatible neck and the accessories recommended directly on the product page.
The packaging–cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of oils, alcohols or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When planning to use the packaging, always compare the composition of your formulation with the stated recommendations for the bottle and cap material. This minimises the risk of changes in the appearance, strength or functionality of the packaging during use and storage.
The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and check that the material is suitable for the given type of formulation. Before each new filling, it is essential to clean the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Allow the disinfectant to evaporate, and only then refill the bottle.
First empty the packaging and rinse it with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent, taking into account the type of previous fill (oil-based, water-based or alcohol-based). Then rinse the bottle again with clean water, allow it to drain and dry. Before refilling, we recommend disinfection with alcohol – use isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 %, rinse the packaging, shake it and allow the alcohol to evaporate completely. When cleaning, follow the recommendations for the specific material stated in the product parameters.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. First empty the bottle as much as possible, wipe or rinse off any remaining product to minimise the load on sorted waste. Then dispose of the packaging in the appropriate container according to the recycling symbol and material designation in the parameter table (for example plastic waste for plastic packaging). Sort the cap and bottle according to the recommendation for the specific product to make the recycling process as efficient as possible.
The bottle is ideal for liquid and easily flowing cosmetic preparations where precise dosing is important – for example facial and body toners, various serums, hair tonics, strengthening treatments, light oil blends or active solutions that are used in smaller quantities. Thanks to the reducer, it also serves very well for more concentrated blends where dropwise dosing or a small stream is appropriate. For thicker creams and gels it is always advisable to test whether the viscosity corresponds to the chosen type of dispensing.
On Handymade you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, jars, pots). This allows you to quickly select suitable packaging according to several parameters – you can filter by neck type, size, colour and material. We recommend starting by choosing the material and volume, then adapting the type of cap and dosing to the character of your formulation. In this way you can easily find packaging that will meet both the technical and aesthetic requirements of your product.
