The plastic jar with induction cap represents a practical and professional packaging solution for cosmetic preparations, balms, creams as well as loose or semi-liquid products. The securely closable container is suitable for packing both homemade and professional formulations where protection of the contents against contamination and leakage is important.
Thanks to the combination of a sturdy jar and a closure with an induction liner, the packaging is ideal for products that require increased tightness, cleanliness at first opening and longer shelf life. The induction liner makes it possible to create a reliable seal after filling and closing, which is appreciated by formulations sensitive to air, humidity or oxidation.
The jar is supplied as a complete set with cap and induction liner, so there is no need to purchase a separate closure. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
If you decide not to reuse the jar after the contents have been used up, we recommend proper sorting and recycling according to the material type indicated in the parameter table for the product. The recycling symbol and the material will tell you which collection container the packaging belongs in.
The jar can be used repeatedly as long as you follow basic hygiene rules and monitor its mechanical condition. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after it is completely dry is the jar ready for refilling.
The induction liner is a barrier foil inserted into the cap that enables a firm seal between the jar and its contents. It is activated during the technological process of induction sealing – after filling the jar, fitting the cap and applying the induction device, the liner is bonded to the neck of the container. A package sealed in this way reduces the risk of leakage and ingress of contaminants and helps maintain the stability of the product during storage and distribution.
The compact jar with a well-sealing cap and induction liner is very practical for travel and for carrying smaller amounts of creams, balms or butters. During transport we recommend always closing the jar carefully, checking the integrity of the induction foil at first use and making sure it is not exposed to extreme temperatures or mechanical pressure that could affect the integrity of the packaging.
After the contents have been used up, it is advisable first to rinse the jar mechanically to remove product residues and then wash it with a suitable cleaning agent intended for contact with cosmetic packaging. After washing, thorough rinsing and complete drying are important. Before refilling, we recommend disinfecting the inner surfaces with alcohol – for example using the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after the alcohol has evaporated and the jar is dry is it ready for further use.
If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend first removing any remaining product so that it does not contaminate other separately collected waste. Then place it in the appropriate collection stream according to the material indicated in the parameter table for the product and on the recycling symbol of the packaging. In this way you enable more efficient processing in the recycling system and reduce the amount of waste ending up in landfills.
To select a suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, jars or other packaging material). In the filter you can clearly set parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour or material. This way you narrow down the offer to only those packages that meet your formulation, visual concept and dosing requirements.
