Product description

Bisabolol is an organic natural product obtained from the Candeia tree (Eremanthus erythropappus), which grows in the Brazilian rainforests, especially in the Serra do Espinhaço. It has Ecocert and USDA Organic certification.

It is a transparent oily liquid with a sweet, floral scent that contains Alpha-Bisabolol, an unsaturated monocyclic sesquiterpene alcohol. In the past, Alpha-Bisabolol was extracted from chamomile flowers, however these contained on average only 30 % of the active component.
Its advantage is also that it does not contain Farnesol.

In cosmetics it has for years been popular especially for its anti-inflammatory, healing and soothing effects and antimicrobial properties.
It is suitable for preparations intended for skin care, is an ideal choice for products for sensitive skin and is also suitable for children.

You will use it in the preparation of aftershave products, products for children, deodorants and antiperspirants, sun care and after-sun products, oral hygiene products, in the fight against acne as well as in hair conditioners.

It is soluble in alcohols such as ethanol, isopropanol and in esters of glycerin and paraffin, as well as in oil. It is insoluble in water and in glycerin.

You can incorporate it into the aqueous phase using solubilizers/solubilising agents.
It is very stable in cosmetic formulations with a pH of 3 - 11.

Dosage:
facial products 0.1 - 0.5 %
deodorants 0.5 %

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, unsuitable for internal use. When handling, use appropriate protective equipment.
