The dispenser is optimized mainly for liquid and semi-liquid formulations, such as emulsions, milks, gels or liquid soaps. For very thick creams, dispensing may be limited, therefore we recommend that before final implementation you always test the behaviour of the specific formulation in combination with this type of pump on a smaller sample of the product.

The tube can be adapted to the height of the specific bottle by simply shortening it with scissors or a sharp knife. It is recommended to cut it slightly diagonally so that it can better draw the contents from the bottom part of the container. Before final shortening, it is advisable to first test the length “dry” so that after fitting, the tube reaches as close as possible to the bottom of the bottle without bending significantly.

The dispenser can be reused with the same type of formulation, provided that hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the dispenser to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, it is possible to use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant solution, let all parts dry thoroughly and only then reuse the dispenser.

For regular cleaning, you can rinse the dispenser with warm (not boiling) water with a small amount of mild cleaning agent, and then pump clean water through the pump several times. For thorough cleaning and before repeated use, we recommend that after mechanical washing you apply a disinfectant solution, for example based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and after its action let all parts dry completely in a clean place protected from dust.

If you decide not to use the dispenser any longer, we recommend first removing any product residues, or rinsing it, to minimize contamination of sorted waste. The subsequent recycling method depends on the material composition indicated in the parameter table for the specific product on the Handymade website. According to the material specified, you will assign the dispenser to the appropriate stream of sorted waste (for example, plastic collection). In the case of combined materials, it is advisable to follow local waste-sorting rules and the recommendations in the product parameters.
