The plastic cup lid, black is a reliable closure designed for hygienic and safe closure of cups during storage and carrying. Thanks to the integrated EPE sealing liner, it helps to improve tightness and reduces the risk of leakage of contents into the thread, which is especially appreciated for cream, gel and paste products. According to the enclosed certificate, it is suitable for use with cosmetic products and is also suitable for direct contact with all types of food.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend to perform your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

The lid is made of PP (polypropylene) and contains an EPE sealing insert. The gasket helps to improve the tightness of the closure and reduces the risk of the contents leaking into the thread when closed correctly.
Yes, according to the enclosed certificate, the packaging material is suitable for direct contact with all types of food. In practice, we recommend testing the seal with the specific contents and storage method (e.g. for oil or very liquid ingredients).
Yes, the container can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before filling, the lid (including the seal contact area) should be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), e.g. with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol 96% (denatured, vegetable), and then allowed to dry completely.
Follow the neck compatibility listed in the product parameters. For final use, we recommend a self-test: fill the crucible, cap it, turn it several times and check the seal even after standing. Behavior is particularly important for oil and very liquid formulations.
If you decide not to reuse the cap, we recommend recycling it. Remove any residual product and sort it according to the materials listed in the parameters (PP, EPE). If possible, sort the parts separately; otherwise, take it to the plastic collection according to your municipality's rules.
