Glass bottle with dropper represents a practical packaging for precise dosing of liquid products where purity, stability and protection of the contents are important. In combination with the dropper, it enables convenient and controlled application of oils, serums, tinctures or concentrated solutions, which predestines it for professional as well as home use in cosmetics and in the production of small batches. Dark glass at the same time contributes to protecting sensitive components from unwanted light and helps maintain the long-term quality of the product.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected when ordering. It can be paired with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, thanks to which it can easily be adapted to the specific product and method of use.
The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, correct dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, presence of essential oils or other active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When deciding on repeated use or recycling of the packaging, we recommend also following the information on the material given in the technical documentation and in the product parameter table, where you will find details for correct sorting and recycling labelling.
The glass bottle with dropper is suitable for most common oil-based and serum-type formulations, as well as for natural extracts and aromatic blends. Dark glass contributes to protecting more sensitive components from light during storage. For very specific or highly concentrated active substances, we recommend performing your own stability test and monitoring the behaviour of the formulation over time.
The packaging can be reused repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely in order to minimise the risk of contamination of the new filling.
For thicker or highly viscous formulations, dosing through the dropper may be slower. We recommend carrying out a trial filling with a small amount, checking the intake and dripping speed and, if necessary, adjusting the composition (for example reducing the viscosity) or choosing another type of closure. After filling, always check the sealing of the dropper so that no leakage or contamination of the bottle neck occurs during handling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information in the product parameters. Glass parts can generally be placed in the container intended for glass once you have removed any remaining contents from the bottle. The dropper and other components that contain plastic, rubber or metal should be sorted according to their material, or placed in mixed waste if it is not possible to recycle them separately. Before recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging so as to minimise product residues in the waste.
The easiest way to choose is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to quickly select a suitable type according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. By filtering, you narrow the offer down to only those packaging options that meet your requirements, and you can then compare them based on the detailed information in the description and in the product parameters.
