Glass bottle – pharma bottle with aluminium closure represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of small amounts of liquids. Thanks to high‑quality pharmaceutical glass and the sealing closure, it is ideal for filling more sensitive formulations that require stability, protection against external influences and convenient handling during everyday use.
This type of pharma bottle is designed for liquid and low‑viscosity products where dose control, minimisation of contact with the environment and reduced risk of contamination are important. In combination with a suitable closure system, it provides a reliable and aesthetic solution for small batches, home recipes and professional artisanal production.
Such glass pharma bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, content of oils, alcohols or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally a very stable packaging material that is well tolerated by most cosmetic formulations, including oil‑based blends and preparations containing alcohol. However, it is always recommended to carry out your own trial test – fill a smaller amount of the product, leave it in contact with the packaging for a certain time and then check the appearance, odour and behaviour of the closure (sealing, no changes in colour or surface).
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, both the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný – rastlinný (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). Only after the packaging has completely dried is refilling appropriate, and it is recommended to use the same type of product (for example always only cosmetic serums) in order to minimise the risk of residual aromas or components.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. These conditions help protect not only the packaging itself but above all the stability of your product. For products sensitive to light or oxidation, it is advisable to always close the bottle carefully after use and not to store it long‑term in the bathroom or other humid areas.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of material specified in the parameters of the specific product. The glass bottle should usually be freed from product residues, possibly rinsed, and then sorted into the appropriate glass container, while the aluminium closure is sorted according to local rules for metal packaging. Before disposal, it is always advisable to separate the individual parts (bottle, closure, any inserts) so that sorting is as accurate as possible and the materials can be recycled efficiently.
When selecting a suitable bottle or pharma bottle, we recommend using the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. With the filter you can quickly narrow down the offer according to neck type, size, colour and material, as well as other parameters. In this way you can easily choose a packaging that will best match your formulation, the desired dosing and the design of the final product.
