Blue glass bottle with aluminum cap represents a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of various liquid formulations. High-quality glass combined with a tightly sealing aluminum closure helps protect the contents from external influences and minimize contact with the surroundings during use as well as storage.
This packaging is ideal for filling cosmetic preparations, active substances and concentrated blends where stability, controlled dosing and a visually unified appearance of the entire product are important. The blue glass also helps reduce light penetration, which is advantageous for sensitive formulations where you need to better preserve the colour, fragrance and functional components throughout the entire shelf life.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the Handymade range. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of the long-term stability of the product under real usage conditions.

Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the aluminum cap, rinsing off any possible dust and then thoroughly disinfecting them. For disinfection it is appropriate to use technical alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in the appropriate concentration. In the Handymade range you will find, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which are suitable for the professional preparation of packaging before filling. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature.
The glass packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, however, the bottle and the closure need to be thoroughly cleaned, their mechanical condition checked and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol (for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). We recommend repeated use only if there is no damage to the thread, the sealing or significant wear of the cap, so that the reliable tightness of the packaging is maintained.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend emptying it as much as possible of any remaining contents and then recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually sorted into the container intended for glass, while the aluminum cap belongs with metal packaging or into separate collection in accordance with the rules of your municipality. Before handing over to sorted waste, it is advisable to separate the individual parts from each other. Always follow local recommendations and the information in the product parameter table on the Handymade website so that recycling is as effective as possible.
The blue glass bottle with aluminum cap is suitable primarily for liquid and low-viscosity formulations such as facial and body oils, serums, aromatherapeutic blends, toners and various cosmetic and laboratory solutions. Thanks to the stable glass and high-quality closure, it is suitable for formulations where you need good protection from light and at the same time an aesthetically appealing packaging. For specific or more aggressive components, we always recommend performing an internal compatibility test to verify the long-term behaviour of the formulation in contact with the packaging.
