Is it possible to reuse this glass bottle and dropper?

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and dropper and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. In the range you will find, for example, technical isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or plant-based ethanol Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after thorough washing, rinsing and drying of the packaging is it suitable to proceed with refilling, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and the impact on the stability of the new product.

How to correctly clean the glass bottle and dropper before further use?

Before repeated use, it is advisable first to clean the packaging mechanically – rinse thoroughly with warm water, possibly using a mild cleaning agent suitable for laboratory or cosmetic glass. We then recommend rinsing the bottle and dropper with potable water, allowing them to drain and dry. The final step is disinfecting the inner surface and contact parts with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After complete evaporation of the alcohol, the packaging is ready for new filling.

For which types of formulations is the dropper glass vial most suitable?

These include in particular facial and eye serums, oil-based and two-phase preparations, concentrated active solutions, perfume and aromatherapeutic oils or intensive hair treatments. Thanks to the dropper, the contents can be applied in a targeted way, which reduces consumption and increases precision in both home and professional use.

What about recycling if I decide not to reuse the packaging?

If you no longer plan to reuse the bottle and dropper, we recommend recycling them in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in glass waste after rinsing, while the dropper and any plastic or rubber components are sorted according to the type of material indicated in the parameters. By separating the individual parts before taking them to the collection point, you contribute to more effective recycling and to reducing the amount of mixed waste.
