The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution for precise dosing of liquid cosmetic and galenic preparations. High-quality glass is suitable for formulations where stability and protection of the contents are important, while the dropper allows controlled, drop-by-drop application without unnecessary product waste. This combination of bottle and dropper is ideal for serums, active concentrates, oils or intensely effective solutions where hygienic, precise and repeatable dosing is desired.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, glass packaging is generally very suitable for preparations based on essential and vegetable oils. Glass is a stable and inert material that does not react with common cosmetic oils and helps maintain their sensorial properties and quality during storage. However, we always recommend performing your own stability test of your specific formulation in the selected packaging.
The packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example a technical alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely to avoid dilution or affecting the next batch of product.
First remove any residues of the original contents, rinse the packaging with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water and rinse thoroughly. After washing, we recommend using an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or vegetable ethanol, and allowing the glass part and the components of the dropper to dry completely. Observe hygiene rules during handling to reduce the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be placed in the glass container after emptying and basic cleaning, while the plastic or combined parts of the dropper belong in the appropriate container for plastic waste, or in mixed waste if local rules do not allow them to be sorted. Before recycling, always check the local recommendations for sorting packaging materials and follow the information in the parameter table for the product.
