Product description

The plastic bottle with lever spray pump is a practical packaging designed for the gentle and even dispersion of liquid preparations in the form of a spray. Thanks to its ergonomic shape and functional spraying, it is suitable for filling cosmetic solutions, DIY formulations, as well as professional preparations where precise, hygienic and economical dosing without contact with the contents is important.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this bottle with spray pump be reused?

The packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the spray mechanism and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in the scent, colour or stability of your formulation.

How should I properly clean the bottle and spray mechanism before re-using it?

Before refilling, we recommend first rinsing the bottle and dip tube mechanically with a suitable cleaning medium (for example warm water with a mild detergent), then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing them to dry completely. Then apply a disinfectant based on alcohol (for example products from the technical alcohols category), rinse the inner space of the packaging and allow the alcohol to evaporate. For the spray pump, it is advisable to pump a small amount of alcohol through the mechanism so that the inner part of the channel and nozzle is also disinfected.

For which type of formulations is the lever spray pump most suitable?

The lever spray pump is most suitable for low-viscosity liquids that can be sprayed in the form of a fine mist – for example watery solutions, hydrolats, toners, light face and body sprays, hair tonics, textile or home sprays. With thicker emulsions or preparations containing solid particles (exfoliating particles, powders), the nozzle may become clogged or dosing may become uneven, so it is advisable to test these formulations before use or choose a different type of dispenser.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the packaging if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend as a first step to empty it completely and, if possible, rinse out any residues of the original contents. Then sort the packaging according to the material designation specified in the product parameters and on the packaging itself (recycling symbol and material abbreviation). The bottle body and the spray mechanism may be made of different plastics, so it is advisable to separate them if the design allows it and place them in the appropriate collection container according to local waste sorting rules. In this way, you support more efficient recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
