FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is it possible to use this glass bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle, including the sprayer, must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcoholic solution (for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable). Only after complete drying is the bottle ready for further use.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle with sprayer before refilling?

First, disassemble the bottle (separate the glass container and the sprayer) and rinse it with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for cosmetic packaging. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues of the cleaning product. Afterwards, disinfect the inner surfaces and the neck with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. We recommend flushing the sprayer with a small amount of alcohol by pressing the mechanism several times. After complete drying of all parts, the packaging can be filled again.

How should I properly recycle the bottle if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition stated in the product parameters. The glass container can generally be placed in the glass container after emptying and rinsing, while the plastic sprayer belongs in plastic waste (the exact method of sorting may differ according to local waste collection rules). Before handing it over for sorting, remove product residues from the bottle to facilitate further material processing.
