After emptying and basic cleaning, place the glass part in the container designated for glass according to local collection rules. The dispenser, which consists of a combination of several materials, is usually sorted according to the predominant material or placed in mixed waste if the individual parts cannot be easily separated. When testing compatibility, we recommend preparing a smaller test batch of the product and keeping it in the packaging over a longer observation period. Pay particular attention to changes in colour, odour, viscosity and any sediment, as well as to the behaviour of the dispenser – smoothness of dispensing, sealing and any leakage around the neck. Monitor whether there is any release of components of the dispenser, any changes in the consistency of the oil blend in contact with the internal parts, or any deterioration in the dispensing functionality. Only after a successful longer-term test is it advisable to move on to larger production series.
